About Shelfie
Made for the people who read the back of the bottle.
Shelfie started with a simple frustration: the products we loved lived in screenshots, the advice lived in group chats, and the ingredient lists lived in 6-point type. We wanted one place for all three, and we wanted it to feel like ours.
Kevin Chan
Co-founder · Product & growth
Kevin decides what Shelfie is for. He runs the tester community and the weekly feedback rounds, curates the catalogue, launches and editorial slots, and leads conversations with brands, retailers and investors. If you've emailed Shelfie, you've probably talked to Kevin.
Brian Ren
Co-founder · Engineering
Brian builds it. The React Native app, the component library and motion system, the Postgres platform with row-level security, the integration endpoints and the pipeline that ships to TestFlight, Android and over the air. He is the reason the tab bar lands exactly on a foldable's hinge.

What we believe
Four things we won't do.
Sell your data
Partnerships are about placement and commerce, never about handing over who you are.
Fake precision
Ingredient concentrations are ranges with a disclaimer. We'd rather be honest than impressive.
Dark patterns
Deleting your account is a button. Notifications are opt-in by type. Muting means muting.
Ignore Canada
CAD prices, Canadian retailers, North American hosting. Home market first, properly.
